Welcome to Pack 1855!

Founded in 1993, Cub Scout Pack 1855 is part of the Golden Empire Council, El Dorado District.

Cub Scouts is a great way to introduce your son (kindergarten through 5th grade) into Scouting before they enter into Boy Scouts at age 11. By participating in many fun activities throughout the year, boys learn citizenship, leadership, and friendship with boys in their age group.

Parental involvement in Cub Scouts is both encouraged and expected. This involvement varies from active participation in Pack/Den events up to and including becoming a group leader.

If you are interested in getting your son involved in Pack 1855, either fill out the form on the Contact Us page or contact our Cubmaster, Mark Karlstad.

Veterans Day Parade Awards Results

The results are in!  Our Veterans Day Parade float won 2 awards this year: Best in Show and Best Spirit.  Paul and Jessica did an outstanding job designing the float, so thank you both so much for helping us show Folsom how amazing Pack 1855 is!  Also, thank you to everyone who helped with the decorating and building, and to those who showed up to walk in the parade (and bring donuts) and show support for our veterans.  Your commitment to Scouting made this honor possible!

Folsom Veterans Day Parade

Please join us in honoring our Veterans by walking in the annual Folsom Veterans Day Parade on Saturday, November 11. This year's theme is "Remembering Our Veterans and Their Sacrifices," and our float is a recreation of George Washington crossing the Delaware River.  Please go to the calendar and RSVP for the event, so we know approximately how many donuts we're going to need, and get all of the event details. We're looking forward to seeing everyone there...rain or shine!
